deleted files via network - need them back-URGENT

I accidently deleted few very important files via network (both XP)

how can i get them back?

stop using the drive they were deleted from, put it into 2nd pc, use recuva to try and get them back

if that doesn't find them, use 'getdataback'

the files hosted by small file/printer server (winXP SP2) with 2 x 320GB RAID1

Agreed - stop anyone using the server if you can - repeated disk activity may damage the files.

recuva should get them back ok.

nothing come up in normal scan, so doing the advanced scan, it's taking a while

i think they are gone forever

it worked for me, when recuva didn't.

freeundelete works great too, instead of just recovering everything it lets you recover certain folders and makes you save the files to a different partition to save corruptions and overwrites.
