It'll be fine.

With your old system, something like a 7600GS would probably be best, no point spending loads, as even a 7600GT might be bottlenecked by your CPU.

7600GS will be so amazingly faster than your current card, and all for about 50ish quid.

Or maybe get a 2nd hand 6600GT for about £30.

Yup that PSU should be more than fine. (Ran an overclocked P4, 7600GT on a 220W shuttle power supply for a while without any problems)

What games do you play mate and at what res/detail settings?

If I were you, I'd try the MM for a S/H 7600GS should be able to get one for £40-50ish

But, If you can get a 7600GT for under £70 then go for that.

After I upgraded my rig to a 7600GT and tried to up my detail dettings, I found my system is holding me back a bit, It was mainly RAM (only had 1Gb) and my partly due to my lowly CPU. So, I'm undergoing a cheap C2D(£50)/RAM/MOBO(£25) upgrade which allows me to use all my old stuff (supports AGP, PCI-e, DDR1&2, SATA&IDE, etc.)

So if your budget allows, I'd suggest doing something similar.
