This thread has made me re-install COD1 to see if I got it wrong the first time around.......

( Should be interesting after playing COD 4 all week! )
 
COD was only that good because you Clanned with me & spent half your life chatting crap & taking the **** with me & the rest of KGC :p
COD4 on the PC is Fabulous & pulled me off BF2, Nuff said a. Now i have my 360 i game on that so COD4 is the game that is at the top of my list. Get it & through live we can relive the past :cool:
 
Counter Strike Source was one of the most addictive games i ever bought then i was addicted to world of warcraft, now im addicted to buying any game that looks good, doesnt help my balance :P
 
ohh the days of DFLW, excellent game, far better then ALL the css intense gaming for 2-3 years , the only other game worthy of being its successor is the BF2 mod PR. all other multiplayer FPS are not worth the time. espescially a while ago most people where old, and fun to game with. now all these 12 year olds play non stop, it kills the gaming. they should really stick to consoles.

joint ops wasnt bad but it didnt stick



edit:, you know its going to be a good game when for the first week you play, you dont know how you die, you cant see anyone. and have 0 chance of effecting anything. not like now when i play COD4 and become 5 star general in 5 days with my super base rape kit getting like 300kills 20 deaths, not very fun

COD is the best game ever. Far better than COD2 which was dumbed down for the "console tards" as somone already mentioned.

I've wasted days and days playing COD online, mostly in HQ mode.
 
Long live Rainbow Six : Rogue Spear, was one of the best in europe at that with a 56k connection - was awesome as a multiplayer experience :)
 
Well, can't say that lasted! :p

Tbh, I enjoyed COD online just, it was quite good fun.

For me,however, its still BF2 that seems to tick most of my boxes though, plus, COD4. :cool:

You have to go a very long way to find a "One suits all" alternative to BF2.

For an occasional Sniper/ Tank driver to a Helo Pilot / Medic / Engineer etc, its very hard to beat - despite its (many) flaws.

Imo, games like COD4 should just make BF3 all the better (i hope so anyway!_

yuris revenge was the first online MP that had me hooked. after that....nothing. i just couldnt find something as compelling as yuris revenge, UNTIL, COD4.
 
COD had me hooked for ages, ran well on my laptop too, recently got COD2 and the same has happened with that, you can get some really good servers on COD, but then again you can get the complete opposite :p
