the one on the right is 45 degrees and the one on the left is 138, using the lines you have drawn

0 degrees being from the center of the hole to the right, horizontally and working anti clockwise

Think google sketchup has a protractor, not sure if you can use it with background images, might be worth a try.

You have an array of pixels. Each one has a coordinate.

Write down the points of interest and perfom some simple geometry and you'll get it pixel perfect. Seems a little crazy to be trying to 'measure' an angle when it can just be computed?
