Been to several Greek Islands and most ar fantastic, accomodation tends to be basic though in many cases

re your brother I doubt he would have much bother

In most greek islands they don't care , I 've been there way to many times was there when they won euro 's , police where shooting shot guns in the air :eek:

Locals dropping dynamite off the cliffs :eek:

But greek islands are the best

It says 16 for buying / drinking in public and any age in private.

No, Cyprus is independent, it gained independence from the UK in 1960 - Turkey, Greece and the UK retained some rights to intervene (or should that be interfere) in the affairs of Cyprus and then Turkey took control of the North of the island.

your brother should be fine. I went to Greece when I was 14 and bars were offering me drink then, even when i told them my age

I was a good boy and said no of course
