I've got the Eastern Front Mod which is quite good, even if the T34's are a bit pants!

Not got the Blitzkrieg mod although I understand that it doesn't work in conjunction with the Eastern Front Mod.

you only launch one mod, not both.

just get Anthology, costs less than £10, ToV isn't the greatest but some of the multiplayer modes are cool and a nice change if you get bored of regular multi

How big are the downloads for COH Gold and Tales of Valor?

ToV once installed is showing as about 9.1Gb and CoH/OF are the same!

Not sure but the downloads may well be slightly smaller overall!

why would you get the anthology, when you can get the same for about a fiver off steam?

anyway coh is good game so worth even more than £10 in my book. i don't mind THQ/Relic making some cash for this game. I actually own vanilla coh, opposing fronts add-on and anthology

I've just bought the lot on Steam as well despite owning COH and Opposing Fronts already, but then I did pay £4 for them in CEX so I don't mind Relic getting some cash from it, easily one of the best games I've ever played, kinda reminds me of Commando's in a way.

If you're not likely to play through the single player campaigns just get ToV as you'll get all the factions and access to all the multiplayer/skirmish modes, 'tis all you need for years of fun.

If you are not into call of duty and all that try the blitzkrieg mod it focuses on realism and accurate units etc.

Before i got this mod i played COH like a couple of hours a month.

When i got this 24/7.

Haven't played CoH for yonks, seem to remember getting stuck on a mission and failing to do it a good dozen times in a row

As it's been so long, and I've forgetten bits of the story so far, I think I'm going to start the vCOH compaign again, and now that I've also got OF and ToV (thanks, Steam!) I can do those too

That should be hours upon hours of gameplay, let alone with some of the mods... and online...!

(And my other selection of recently-acquired games thanks to the Steam sales!)
