Just got back from seeing it - Very cool film - Very well acted  :p I'm pretty surprised - I've only seen him act in the Spiderman movies and thought he was terrible, but in this he's done very well!

The scene was just about as graphic as I thought it would be - not too bad, but enough to show the drama of it all...

Seen this last night, wasnt bad. I love the zombie look that danny boyle still managed to slip into it :D

I thought it was a pretty decent film, not as amazing as some of the reviews suggested but still a pretty compelling story.

i felt nauseous when he cut his nerve, so brutal. it's thought provoking and was shot very well. good acting too

you don't need the big screen to see it but if you've nothing else to do or there's nothing else on, definitely go see :)

I just saw this as well. The actor did a stellar job - that kind of role is extremely challenging and he totally pulled it off so props to him! Im not the squeamish kind and the warning on the preview said "One scene of injury gore" so I was expecting something like the scene in the first SAW where he takes the hacksaw to the leg but it wasnt that bad. But we are all different so those of you who have not seen it...it can be a stomach churner.

But yes..the prosthetic is very realistic, they did not make that HORRIBLE movie error of bright red blood. This was realistic dark stuff when he stabbed into the arm.

Nice camera work with tight shots of the eyes and view from inside water bottle etc.

I enjoyed it...in the end it is a supremely uplifting tale of survival.

An interesting aside: the real person who this movie is about (Aron Ralston) has never revealed the maker of the multitool he used to perform the amputation.

The worst bit for me was when they dubbed on that screeching guitar noise when he touched the nerve. That sent shivers down my spine for a day after watching if i thought about it!

Not his best. But i try and watch each film on its own merit rather than judge it by its predecessors. I enjoyed it, that was the main thing.
