Im normally on coh most evenings, name is Vicious998 in game if you wanna add me. I normally play 2v2 auto match / 2v2 AT but more than happy to do some skirmishes or whatever :)
 
lol dumb patch -> now allied tanks roll thru tank traps like they don't exist :rolleyes:. seriously shouldn't Relic focus on these stupid Nat Failures instead - many in UK use the BT homehub. anyway this patch was a fail imo

anyway i found a fan made fix for those playing BK mod -> download file and replace existing scar file (in your coh/blitzkrieg/data folder). http://www.blitzkrieg-mod.de/forums/index.php?/topic/2961-scar-fix-found/ job done

BT home hubs are rubbish. They don't work with hardly anything so I wouldn't be too quick to blame Relic for NAT problems on home hubs.

The tank trap bug introduced a while ago in patch 1.3 I think it was. It did get patched ages ago though. I can't believe they've patched it back in. It shows that their QA process for the patches hasn't got any better. I wouldn't expect a quick fix for it either as last time they didn't consider it a serious fault.

Here i was thinking i was one of the only people who played this game :o

I only play single player when i am at my mates but never bought as i didn't realise anyone played it.

What should i buy then guys if i want to start playing this online?
Just every version of the game eg COH, Tales of Valor etc like WoW or is there an easier way?
 
The original CoH will let you play the American and Wehrmacht armys, Opposing Fronts will let you play British and Panzer Elite and Tales of Valor gives you some extra vehicles/tanks. Each game has its own single player components too ofc.
 
I think if you buy Tales of Valor you can play online as any of the 4 armies. Not 100% sure though. Original COH and OF give you extra single player campaigns.

I tried to just sit back, accumulate units and steamroller the opposition like i do in command & conquer.

Doesn't work on CoH. You need to get units and expand fast and capture resources.
