I had one - great car, Manual 2.0 twin turbo.

Really quick - probably 5.5 s to 60, but pretty crap on fuel. MASSIVE boot.

Watch out for leaky rocker gaskets and issues with the twin turbo setup - the latter is a bit of a rats nest. its a sequential setup so second turbo kicks in the high revs.

I haven't driven the Scooby wagon for a while but one of our cars is a GTB and it's an extremely capable car. They're very thirsty on fuel even without planting the right foot and the twin turbo setup is needlessly complicated (which is fine until it goes wrong) but they're very, very good if you carry a lot of gear (camping, kids prams etc) and want to go fast sometimes. I also think they're the better looking car of the two but this is of course subjective.

Loved my Forester S/tb (import) you might come accross one for £2k but I would expect to pay much more for a decent example.

Is an example, dealer is listing the power incorrectly though as it is higher for an import :)
