Even the normal 2.0 turbo Maestro used to shift, so I bet that thing flies!
Never drove a Maestro turbo but did drive a Montego turbo and it's scared the living daylights outa me.

Awesome retro
There's a place in Bristol that spares and servicing for them, it's called Montego Bay :D

Jesus, you're brave posting that on here :p

I was looking at that waterpump and thinking... M series pump... then I saw your statement about using an O series pump. That's some nice work.

It should be 'fairly' nippy with that sort of power too :o

well played with the engine upgrades but it looked 1000 times better all white on the old wheels. i'd even go as so far as saying you made a **** car look cool before but now it just looks like a **** car. sorry.

I love the way these kind of threads bring out the guys who Dislike the car.. because its Not nice to drive down the Motorway like a BMW for example ;)

and how it also brings out the people like myself who think 'OOoooof Big Engine, Light car!' :D

I've got a soft spot for the Meastro Turbo, they're wrong but in a right sort of way:D

That one just looks mental though, the kind of car that needs a straightjacket lol

Even with that power/weight ratio I probably couldn't bring myself to give it a blast - looks only a mother could (never) love.

Scrap that (for want of a better phrase :D), giz a go.

Cool car which surprises a lot more exotic metal, seen it in action :D

Are you on a T34.63? you should see a little more than 380 lb ft with a 2.2 bar spike in the midrange, although capping the boost to 21ish psi to stop over spooling at the top end will limit power.

Think you or your mate (maybe both?) you own it with are on pf aren't you?

Yeh Jason and I are both on PF and co own the car, last year it was fitted with a T34.48 but this time its being relpaced with a custom CR Turbo's T34.63 with a modified rear housing and wheel so in reality it'll be a T34.67

Cool! Not heard of that kind of hybrid before. What's the wheel from?

Have you considered a t38? Makes less torque than the T34 so won't break traction as easily, but more power up top and with the revs you'll be using on track it won't go below threshold.
