I lost the manual for my copy of BF2 and thus the serial with it. Does this work with the Steam version were I to buy it again? BF3 will possibly be a downer and BFBC2 doesn't appeal.

I wish i could play more often, but for some reason this game has a hatred for my computer resulting in it blue screening/crashes my computer every 5 or 10 minutes.

I think its my X-Fi sound card but i'm yet to figure out how to fix it or what exactly it is :(

I would check out PR and google search for that. Even better if your on 64-bit OS, google "4GB patch" and then use that on the BF2.exe and should solve that. BF2 was known bad for memory related crashses and that often

Installed this and gave it a try last night, had to download the extra 0.91 patch only 300 odd meg so not to bad.

Had a few problems with key bindings and also not being able to select a spawn point sometimes. Managed to get in a good squad who were very helpful so made my first game a lot easier.

Going to get a bit more practise in tonight and try and sort any bugs out if i can..

The game does need good squad otherwise it will be a very frustrating experience. Also if you haven't got one already, a microphone is pretty essential and will make the game a lot easier. This certainly wet my appetite again, I'll be looking for a game tomorrow.

Had about 4 hours on tonight had to come off when the RSI started kicking in, too many years playing Quake, Quake2, UT, Tribes, Tribes2 Early CS betas and all the BF games :(

Some good games some bad, having a good squad and more so a good squad leader makes all the difference, I forgot how dangerous armour is in this game "it hurts - a lot"

Been playing on NWA UK reality server most of the time, nearly always full and one of the Uk servers which helps ping wise..

Names Blade RooSe
prefix = Blade game name = RooSe

working a 3-10 shift so won't be on tomorrow night :(
