Mass Effect 1 and 2 Possibly? Its not sidebox styled like Fallout3 and Oblivion, But you do have a vast amount to explore. And plenty of side missions

I was gonna say the only game you need is Oblivion but I think you've got that already! Shame you don't own a Ps3, otherwise I would highly recommend Demons Souls. However if you can wait a little longer the sequel Dark Souls is out next month on both Ps3 and 360. Check it out.

Have you considered Risen. Its cheap now on the 360. I played it on PC and enjoyed it a lot. Not the most polished game in the world but open with a lot to explore. Think it deserved better reviews than it got. Maybe have a look at some gameplay footage on youtube and see what you think. Also check out Gothic 4: Arcania.

The wait for Skyrim is driving me mad btw.

In reference to my earlier post, I just found out Dark Souls is listed for October 7th release. :-(

Still, if you can't wait for Skyrim maybe you could try Dark Souls instead when its released. Still a bit of a wait but its one month less than Skyrim. :-)

I'm in the exact same boat waiting for Skyrim. DA2 was a let down for me after really liking Origins. Demon Souls is pure evil. Currently playing Castlevania ok not RPG but really good might pass a bit of time also Darksiders.
