hi im a recently new member and i love the forums and everyone in it, so very helpful. i just have one problem which is the fact that even when im considering buying a £700+ system from ocuk they still have to charge a delivery charge.. i think its insane to give someone that extra cost when they are spending so much at the site. why not make a 200 pound free delivery limit or even 100?. it just seems to me that people would tend to go to competitors jsut because their delivery is usually free. Ocuk prices are very good for parts, but i feel the delivery makes the overall cost average.

Or just make 250 posts and keep registered for 90 days and then get it free whether you buy a AMD Cap or a 7970 OC'd System.

Them pesky Couriers. Could be worse.... tried paying for delivery to Northern Ireland on something like a PC case????

Didn't think so.

Delivery charge is not to pay OcUK. It's to pay the delivery company beleive it or not.

Lol, so the delivery company is ok with loyal OCUK forum members not paying it are they?

Low margin products have delivery charges shocker.

If margins were that low loyal forums members would not get free delivery either.

It is not at all unreasonable to expect free delivery on a £700 order, dependant on weight and bulk of course :)

You pay for a superior next day, quality service. I've not experienced a better delivery service from anywhere else. So knowing that my expensive PC parts are going to arrive on time and spotless condition I'm happy to pay that little extra.

Besides, if you've got £700+ to splash out on PC parts who are you to complain about a measly £7-10?

Most places that give free delivery on spend £xxx are slow standard delivery services anyway - personally if I'm buying new stuff I like next day delivery :D

Money doesn't grow on trees and If you look after the pennies then the pounds will take care of themselves ;)

Cheaper is Cheaper at the end of the day. I like to make my money go further! Why waste it?
