Bought a new car seat a couple of days ago from Amazon who used Yodel to deliver it and while my gf was out they left it behind the bin which is in clear view of the street where people sit outside the front of their houses, now this wouldnt be a problem but where I live I dont really trust them not to just half inch it. I live in Chavport and I live on the school foot route. Infact I'd be very surprised if more than 25% of my street actually have jobs. The item itself was in a box probably as big as the bin.. so it wasn't very discrete.

Gf was out shopping for around 2 hours and I was at work, the baby needed some milk as it was pretty low or she'd have stayed in so no exact time of how long it was left for.

I was wondering, who do I contact to complain about it?

Amazon EU S.a.r.L. - Seller
or
Yodel

Or do I complain to both? What'd you do?

Nah it wasn't stolen. I did start writing to Amazon but I thought to the GD forums for some advice as like above I've seen some bad things about Yodel.

Just annoys me because if it had of been stolen, we need it very soon as we're planning on a 619mile round trip (my mates Navy passing out parade for those who're nosey ;D) and he's got very little room left in his current car seat

We recieved our order in great condition but where it was left is seriously to be desired.

Nobody was home to take delivery so it was left in plain view beside our bin, now this is not a small product that was delivered and stood out like a sore thumb.

We don't live in the best of areas and if the driver knew this he certainly wouldn't have left it out in the open like this. With the recent bad weather that we've had here it could have easily soaked the car seat right through.

We live in an area that sees a lot of pedestrian traffic, had we have been out any longer it could have quite easily have been picked up. We sometimes have to go away at a minutes notice due to my mother being unwell and now knowing that your delivery options will just leave products out in the open instead of holding them for safe keeping I think we are really going to rethink where we order from.

I understand that not being in to take delivery is an inconvenience to the driver but with an infant we can't spend all day in when he needs medicine and food and we don't expect to come back to find an expensive product just sat outside our house.

I've not had any problems ordering through your website until now and I've heard a lot of bad reviews about Yodel, had I known this was the delivery service I wouldnt have ordered which is unfortunate because one company you're affiliated with is letting you down. We do how ever like the product so far and we'd be ordering a second one though after today I very much doubt it will be repeat custom for you.

Ok a little dishonesty there as my mums not unwell but I do have to disappear quite quickly sometimes for other reasons just easier to write that my mums unwell.. lets see how they reply to that.
