Its a total waste of time ordering something with " next day delivery" on a Friday ( unless you have paid for Saturday delivery) as you wont get until Tuesday, Monday if your really lucky. You may as well just wait until Monday and order it with next day delivery.

It's one of the oldest tricks/face palms of online ordering.

I thought OCUK made a big point a while ago that they now have a DPD collection on Sat, meaning anything ordered Fri/Sat would get delivered on Monday rather than Tuesday which some people above are saying?

OP = learn to read, you'll get it Monday regardless when you ordered it on Friday

I will say, in the OP's defence. I placed an order on Friday (14th) and on all the screens I was shown regarding delivery did state the 15th for due delivery. It wasn't until the third email (Order Comfirmed, Order Shipped, due delivery date) that I was informed that it would be Monday 17th before my order arrived.

I knew I wouldn't get it till Monday 17th however

Maybe an addition to the standard confirmation email stating that orders ordered via next day on a Friday won't arrive till Monday unless Saturday Next Day has been specified would be in order?

No need to be rude about it guys, please put your order number in the customer service section and I can look into the order to make sure it is okay.

But as said above, things will only arrive on Saturday if you pay for that service, if it is the normal DPD Next Day service this is a Mon-Fri service.
