Delivery / Pick Up Question.

I can arrange for you via our TNT account, although it isn't too cheap (depending on item)

Cost me £35 to collect a pushbike using them, with next day delivery, and I prefer using them to Parcel2Go!

Thats appreciated but it's sorted now, thanks and delivery is £31 for a 20 k parcel.

The item in question is a boxed Commodore 64 with 179 games. It was one of my first computers in the 80's and I fancied playing the likes of Green Beret et al again.:)

Don't forget that there will be an awkward situation if it arrives in non-working order.

The seller says it was working fine. It arrives broken. You have no recourse with the seller, as he's simply handed it over to the courier. The courier is not going to implicate themselves, and will say it was not damaged in transit. Then you have a problem.

Did that come out for the 64 ? I always thought it was for the C16 and +4 versions ?

Shows age.

Nope was out on the 64 as well. Was my first computer C64 and I used to play it for hours...

Aha.

It comes with over 170 games so hopefully yes, if it works.

So wish some one would make a flash version of it.

You'll have to list what games it has, if/when you get it. Danm that brings back memories

It's probably alright when it's that way around.

I'm selling some wheels on ebay at the moment and I've stated in my auction that it is pickup only, however if you really want to find a courier or find how much it will cost then that can be an option.

I think it's more annoying if it is the other way around. I once sold an item that was delivery only and the guy emailed me and said he wanted to pick it up. He sent payment minus the delivery charges before even asking me.

Now I agreed to do so, but due to him working weird shifts and me working night shifts. I was unable to arrange a time for him to come around for a good week and a half. He started getting quite threatning in his e-mails about it. Now had he just taken the delivery option, I would have shipped it the next day and he would have got it in a matter of days. So for him to start moaning at me when he did something which I hadnt specified as an option in my auction was a bit out of order.
