Dell 24' Built In Car Reader Not Working

I cant seem to get my card reader to work correctly..

Ive plugged the usb cable in the side and into my pc but when I put in my SD memory card it doesnt come up with anything..

If i put the card in the printer memory reader it works fine

Any ideas guys?

None of the USB ports work on my 2407 either.

Thats strange, same on my 2407

You may have a faulty cable - do you have another one you can try?

Well I plugged in a USB cable to my 2407 this morning and everything including the card reader works perfectly.
