Dell 2405 screen wrap-around problem

Hi all, I've had the 2405 since late last year, but have had this irritating issue with the screen since day one, which I've always put down to a poor graphics card...

Basically, I'm running at 1920x1200 res using VGA interface, with a not so great graphics card (All-In-Wonder 128 pro). When I drag my mouse to the far right, as it reaches about 3.5" from the end, the screen wraps around and exposes what's showing on the left-hand side of the screen.
When watching movies/vid clips in full screen, the 3.5" area goes a dark green colour

Does anyone have any solutions? ...or is it just a case of getting a new graphics card?

Would appreciate some advice greatly. Cheers :)

If you're using a card without a DVI-out it doesn't bode well...but I can't say for certain. I'd put my money on the graphics card. Would you consider a budget card and moving onto DVI? It'd be a good move even if it proves the screen to be at fault and you need to get it replaced.

I assume you're adjusted the screen correctly in the monitor OSD.

Hi Mud...
I've tried everything I could with the OSD. My card doesn't have DVI-out either.

One thing I have noticed is, the ATI display settings indicates 1600x1200 60hz, so even though I can use 1920 x 1200 res, maybe my card can't handle it properly.

I'm planning to buy a brand new system soon with a hi-spec nVidia card, so hopefully I can hold out til I can afford that.

What exactly is the model of your card?
From the looks of things it defenently can't cope with the res. You have drivers installed properly don't you?

It's an 'ATI All-In-Wonder 128 pro'.
A few years old now...

I've installed all the latest drivers I can find for it, but still no luck.
It's cool though, I only posted this thread with the off-chance someone might point out a simple solution which I hadn't considered.

Should have a top-end graphics card in the next month or two, so there's hope yet I'll get to utilize every inch of this 24" baby :D

Cheers for the suggestions though guys!
