ok sick of the bird watchinh Home and Away on the TV ... so may need to move the Ps3 onto the dell as well as the PC.

it any good with the Dell ?

what connection you using....

Its fine, looks as good as the 360, im use component at the moment, just a cheap £5~ cable, high street store brand, works fine running 1080i.

Only thing to be aware of is that only the A04 revision can do 1:1 pixel mapping on 1080p sources so, if you have an earlier revision, you'll get some scaling.

cool never used composite before.... how do you tell the revision ?

just had a quick look - theres a 1-1 option greyed out... guess this is only available via composite ?

trying it with my 360 and 1:1 or scaling between 1080/1200 and I genuinely can't see even the slightest difference other than its a little bit bigger.

Only affects digital input via DVI I think. Revision is printed on the back of the monitor and the original box.

I currently use my PS3 on my DVI - but I have to remove my PC everytime I want to play - Im going to get a DVI switch soon hopefully... But it's full HD and looks sweet :)

Marky (or anyone else)

How did you connect the PS3 via HDMI-DVI? Im getting nowhere with mine at the moment (getting coloured noise/snow) and either its a bad cable or me jsut not setting up the correct setting on the PS3/2407WFP.

I do have an A04...

ps3ud0

just use component connection with the dell monitor, don't they have hdmi connection yet?

unless you want to watch bluray discs which i think hdmi or via hdmi to dvi lead will be needed

HDMI cable from PS3 -> HDMI Cable into HDMI/DVI conversion -> DVI cable on output of convertor to Dell 2407

Thats the way I have it and it works fine :)
