Does anyone have any comments on this screen? Some of the reviews ive read seem to rate it high only faulting it with some back light bleeding, but most screens get this anyway.

Just wondering what other people think about this screen?

For myself, ill be using it for mainly games.

looks good, but no usb ports, no height adjustment

compare to other monitors prices and it can start to look a bit expensive although there is a good discount in effect from ocuk and dell atm

hi

i have had mine now for 4 months and its superb apart from i got one with 2 dead pixels.

as for the backlight bleed - its not that bad - you only notice it on a black background.

4 year warranty too

its that good im thinking of getting another one and going duel. :D

the new lg looks prety good too - on this week only for £192.69

Im tempted by the dells atm, 4 yr warranty for only a little extra cash seems a damn good deal to me. Sems they out of stock thru dell direct atm tho.

From what I read the LG MIGHT ghost badly, and only has 1 yr waranty.

Does the stand on the dell allow the screeen to move at all or am I gonna need to buy a mount arm for it too?

Got one for the gf a few weeks ago and it's excellent. Ok it's not as good as my 2407 as it's a TN panel and it doesn't have the adjustment or USB hub either but it's a good-looking, solid screen with a good picture for the money (if you get a good discount that is)

I think its pretty tough to decide on a screen as they all have their faults, kind of stuck between Samsung SM-226BW and the Dell E288WFP.

Cheers for the replys

Paid £192 for each of the two I own. Very happy with them although one of them has developed a power supply squealing, something I'll contact Dell about once I've finished working with it...
