Hello, i've had my e520 for like 2 months now and i recently bought a new gfx card for it, anyways i'm gettin trouble with my games, i think my cpu's are overheating, if anybody knows about the e520 then you will know what the cooling system is like, here are my temps
on idle
Cpu0 - 49
Cpu1 - 47
under full load
it shot up to 65 in about 7 seconds, i stoped the test after that incase it blew
any ideas what i can do? would this be the reason why my games dont run smooth
This is what i have
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300, 1866 MHz (7 x 267)
Motherboard Name Dell Dimension E520
DDR Memory Total 1021 MB
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic
ATI Radeon X1950 Pro

) a 8400 i couldent change the hsf becuase the mobo was a custom dell made one and it dint have the mounting for any 3rd party cooler out on the market so judging by that dell system, i dont think there is much you can do apart from complain to dell about over heating and stability issues?
