dell inspiron keeps crashing

hi iv had my laptop

for i'd say 3 and a half years now and the past month or so its been giving me problems. firstly, every so often a thing pops up saying battery is reaching the end of its rechargable life and then this week, it just randomly shuts down. So ! im looking into getting a new one and popped on here to ask about netbooks. whats the difference between a netbook and a laptop, apart from the price http://www.twenga.co.uk/dir-Computers,Laptop-computers,Netbook-067568 can they have all the microsoft programmes, itunes and the internet ? coz if so, il be going for one of them ! but just want a few opinions first ! also, what brand is the best ? iv looked around at a few and they all seem in and around the same price. ta

Netbooks are smaller, have less power. The keys on the keyboard are naturally smaller as well. They tend not to have a CD-Rom drive, as there is no room for them.

Personally, I would stick with a laptop. I had a netbook and it irritates me. My fingers mash the keyboard , and the screen is annoyingly small.
