Hi all,
just a quick question, after turning on i get the dell logo then the screen goes black.
I have connected the laptop to an external monitor and get a picture if i use the Fn+f8. If i switch back to the laptop screen the display shows for 1-2 seconds but get a buzzing/fizzing noise while the display is on but then goes when the screen goes back black.
I have tried some of the suggestions, taking the battery out and holding the power key, removing the memory and so on.
model number is inspiron 6400 (pp20L i think).
any information would be appreciated.
