All over the world...
Was wondering if anyone here owned this particular laptop, im seriously considering buying one as it seems pretty small and light and is packed with some pretty good features.

At the mo its pretty expensive but my laptop that i use now is getting on a bit..almost 3 yrs old but still a good laptop albeit getting slower and slower. Plus for a 15" laptop its a bit heavy so ideally looking for something lighter and smaller.

Anyways anyone have any good things or bad things to say about this laptop...ill be getting it direct as it allows me to configure exactly what i want in the laptop.

Cheers for any advice:)

Hmmm oh well guess no one has any opinions on this particular laptop...anyways ended up ordering it over the weekend..now just have to wait for some of the parts to come into stock. But the spec is as follows:

Intel Core Duo CPU 2.33ghz
2gb of 667mhz ram
256 Geforce 7400 gfx card
120 gb 7200 rpm sata hd
12" LCD 1280x800 WXGA screen
Vista Ultimate OS
Built in bluetooth module with wireless a/b/g WLAN card
8x DVD writer
9 cell battery

All in all got it for a great price, came out to almost £1800 but through my company managed to get it for just under £1200 all in. Now just have to wait for this little beast to be delivered...hd is holding it back as they have a waiting time of about 12 days i think.

My bro also ordered one and he should be getting his very soon as he just went with a lower specced model...looking forward to playing around with his.

Not a bad choice, my brother got one over in the US and is happy with it. While it doesn't come close to competing with the big boys in terms of gaming, it's still good to see non-integrated graphics in a 12" laptop.

I thought they were Core 2, but they might let you configure it with either.

Is it Core Duo or Core 2 Duo?
Sounds nice anyway, will expect a barrage of pics and mini user review when you get it. :p

Core 2 Duo.

Will get some pics up when received, actually might just post pics of my bros one thats coming later this week as his is literally the same model but with lower specs than mine. Its going to be at least 2 weeks before i get my hands on my laptop.

I have this laptop.

Love it.

Extremely well built - feels solid. Extremely good battery life. Near 5 hours with my settings when just watching video. Over 4 hours when using wireless or the built in 3G card.

I paid nearly £1700 for it and I havent regretted it. I use it everyday - occasionally running it 24/7 and I have not had any stabiity problems that were not caused by me.

^^^Cheers mate for the feedback, my bro got his earlier today...lower spec model than the one i ordered...my delay is due to the 120gb 7200 rpm sata HD being out of stock.

So far im extremely impressed with the size of this laptop, it may be small but god it has some serious horsepower underneath it. The screen is fabulous, very sharp and bright and Windows Vista looks gorgeous on it...at the moment just playing with a few settings. Battery life on this laptop is superb, doesnt seem to run out of juice that quickly. Inbuilt webcam isnt too baad either...great piece of kit tho and would definitely recommend. Very quiet and fast as well and seems to keep quite cool...have had it on my lap for the past 2 hrs and its just warm really...but then i havent really pushed it tbh.

Only thing i dont like is the lid which seems to attract fingerprints but other than that its a lovely piece of kit...now just have to wait for mine to come..
