Just got a Mini 1012 delivered from dell, bought it as it had the 720p screen (never been able to get away with 1024x600, yahoo mail complains

), straightaway i wiped it to install 7 pro, there was a unknown device in control panel "multimedia controller" couldnt for the life of me figure out what it was so took a chance by installing the broadcom crystal hd drivers and bobs your uncle thats what it was, no mention on the spec sheet was the decoder card on the specs so not a bad bonus

£160 + vat can't complain cheers dell

The Broadcom cards have been a PITA to source without paying over the odds

yeah, about £50 or so on the bay, wasnt sure if they were standard with the hd screens or not but nothing was mentioned about it
