Dell rant

Is it a lottery though? Have you experienced it to know this to be the case? I have had multiple Dell Ultrasharp replacements, and each and every one has been immaculate, despite being a refurb.

If you get a refurb that isn't immaculate, then you insist they replace it again with an immaculate one.

Its a lottery with referb, im happy for them to repair it but not into referbs.

I've only had one Dell refurb.

It was in perfect condition and newer than the one it replaced.

If they still work the same way the replacement monitor is delivered one day and the faulty one collected the next.

This gives you the chance to check out the replacement before parting with your original monitor.

Tbh I don't think I'd be filled with confidence if someone told me they've had multiple replacements.

Sure, if you make assumptions on why they were replaced.

One was related to dead pixels, another due to a power button error that was fixed in later revisions, and another was one I bought broken (I knew it was broken), and Dell allowed me to swap it for a fully functional one.
