Dell S2417DG 24" 1440 G Sync 144hz screen

I'm having an issue with some programs:

For example when I launch Emacs and Steam they look blurred.

Is there something I need to do to correct this?

This does not happen in the windows desktop nor firefox nor when
gaming.

You using windows scaling? Cause the solution is don't. Or suck it up.

Yes, I was using windows scaling. It was at 1.25. I've switched it to
1.10 and it's a good compromise in my opinion.

I'm currently using the U2515 which is a 25" at 1440p and I find text absolutely fine. Took a few days to get used to but I can't say I find it uncomfortable.

I'd be very interested in a 24" 1440P G-Sync monitor from Dell as I keep wishing my monitor did more Hz and had G-Sync.

Right click the program and go into properties and then compatibility, there is a checkbox option and tick/untick the disable display scaling option.

Had to do that for a few programs myself.

So far enjoying it although I'm finding the general desktop experience to be abit small for my liking, so will have to play around with scaling.

to those who have now got a s2417dg do you recommend it I can buy one tomorrow need though some feedback as most new monitors atm are a bit hit and miss ty

In my opinion it is worth buying. Be aware as mentioned in my previous
post, you'd need to use scaling or get used to the small text. I already
got used to the text without scaling and it's fine for me.

Gsync is amazing. I've also overclocked the monitor to 165 Hz.
