Just downloaded the driver. You're suggestion worked! Nice one ree!!!!!! Got the display manger as well which will come in handy so double good.
On the basis of this thread, thanks guys very informative, I have just placed an order for the Dell to replace my other Dell U2913WM, and it is arriving tomorrow. I am thinking of a new video card to replace my aging HD7900 so any recommendations in the £300-400 price range? I am thinking of this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/powe...ress-graphics-card-stand-alone-gx-18v-pc.html in my Asus Rampage IV Formula.
Will these all be ok?
Sounds good, the HD7900 was loud when playing games, but in normal desktop usage I hardly heard it at all...
I got this screen today for £300 ! bargain with the code. Can someone recommend good test to check for dead pixels and for BLB ?
Also how do I set this up to work with my gtx 1070 of freesync ?
No display port cable with either dell monitor or my GPU
Thanks ree.
If you get some free time maybe you could edit your first post and put some high res photos and links to reviews so that hopefully we can make a big thread for years to come. Here are few starting with the best one imo if it helps.

That's my big worry, to be honest - the panel lottery. Receiving/returning multiple monitors until I get a keeper would be a non-runner for me personally, and it's the main reason I've put off upgrading my monitor for so long. On the plus side, coming from this 8 year old monitor (Samsung S23A700D, also a TN as it happens) means anything decent from the last year or so would be a visual upgrade.
