DELL S2719DGF Owners Thread

just keep upping the brightness till you hit a level you like, mine eventually was 35 where am happy and leaving it at that.

yeah i imagine with it being early days for nvidia and adaptive sync they'll be numerous bugs cropping up for them to attend to.

On the basis of this thread, thanks guys very informative, I have just placed an order for the Dell to replace my other Dell U2913WM, and it is arriving tomorrow. I am thinking of a new video card to replace my aging HD7900 so any recommendations in the £300-400 price range? I am thinking of this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/powe...ress-graphics-card-stand-alone-gx-18v-pc.html in my Asus Rampage IV Formula.
Will these all be ok?

this one would be better bud.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £409.85 (includes shipping: £9.90)

Sounds good, the HD7900 was loud when playing games, but in normal desktop usage I hardly heard it at all...

i own a reference blower 64 like the powercolor which is ok but for an extra 20 quid its worth just getting the better card. you could also go the nvidia route too like said above which gives you more options.

i didn't bother with the overclock and just left everything else as is. i only changed brightness really.

cheers just copied them. if someone fancies taking photos i'll add them too (am not gonna embarrass myself by taking camera phone ones lol)

me personally i think its the best pick of the bunch but i own it so there for probably biased. as long as you get a decent panel with no issues then your on to a winner imo.

That's my big worry, to be honest - the panel lottery. Receiving/returning multiple monitors until I get a keeper would be a non-runner for me personally, and it's the main reason I've put off upgrading my monitor for so long. On the plus side, coming from this 8 year old monitor (Samsung S23A700D, also a TN as it happens) means anything decent from the last year or so would be a visual upgrade.

'touch wood' not many have complained about issues with monitor qc. completely up to yourself.. but i would give it a try and worse case it goes back if not happy.
