What is the current revision number of the Dell U2713HM? Some sources say A00, some say A01.

I'm looking at getting one of these, I wonder which rev OCUK have in stock
I'd like the LG.Display LM270WQ1-SLC1 as its the latest.
I believe Dell went backwards in Rev's. The newest ones coming out of Dell seem to be a May 2013 Rev 00 .
This is quoted from someone fairly high up at Dell.
“Displays from the repair center should have revision A02 which would be the latest. Displays from the factory may have revision A00 because they changed all the part numbers due to implementation of ES 6.0. These will have the new SLC1 panels with all the fixes.”
So it makes sense displays now are going back down to A00. This panel is amazing, the way the monitor should have come from the factory always.
Look back at the information that i posted about the newer panel. I currently have one and its a May 2013 A00 . I believe all the newer build dates May and on with a revision of A00 are the ones that have the newer panel
Well I bought one from ocuk which arrived Wednesday. Manufactured April 2013 rev A01.
So far very impressed, but need to get colours looking right as white isn't perfect.
Are these U2713HM's fixed now or is there still awful backlight bleed?
I'm certain Dell Direct *should* only sell the latest panel revisions, only offer a new panel in the first 30 days and after only offer refurbished panels.
I don't know but I've since discovered that my panel has really bad backlight bleed in that left corner as is demonstrated up there and the crosshatching is worse than suspected at first.
I ordered from no competitor talk! who won't replace the screen unless it is actually broken so I either have to get Dell to guarantee me with a new revision panel or get a refund from no competitor talk!.
Are OCUK selling the new revisions?
EDIT:
Looks like they aren't :/
I have an April A01 as the person above does but mine is not a good one. Beginning to wonder if it's even worth the fight for this display. The ASUS one sounds no better and the only one that is apparently good is £100 more with a far less attractive body and warranty scheme. It's a Viewsonic monitor. Or of course you could spend £700 on the Samsung 2K mirror.
I'm so frustrated with this U2713HM.
I just called DELL, and they have admitted that all U2713HM monitors are faulty and every single one will have backlight bleed. They've offered to swap it out tomorrow with a refurb, or they will send me a new one in 6-8 working days.
If I get a new one from them then I won't be able to DSR the monitor if I end up with another dud.
Le sigh.
I took DELL's offer of a new monitor delivered within 6-8 days. I do want to keep it, and none of the alternatives appeal to me.
I had to remain very calm when the support person asked me if I had tried the monitor on another PC, after his colleague had already informed me that all of these monitors had this problem.
My friend was swapped within a day... I can't believe the outrageous inconsistency and lacklustre quality of Dell's support. I thought having a Dell warranty would be a good thing, seems I'm wrong. Unless you pay for Pro Support, they're useless.
These Viewsonic and LG monitors look so much better... The Viewsonic is the better deal with a full 3 year warranty but lacks a nice OSD and some of the split features of the LG and of course the design. So with the LG the warranty 'd have to be upgraded.
I could've had a refurb delivered tomorrow, but I didn't buy a refurb from OCUK so why should I accept one from DELL just because their quality control sucks?
I bought a 2405FPW in 2005 and it was flawless for years. We seem to have gone backwards in recent times.
Yep. I don't see Dell surviving much longer. They have had some absolutely shocking products surface over the last few years and their once brilliant customer support is all but gone. No wonder this buyout thing is going on.
So after being told that a new monitor would arrive in 6-8 days, I received it today. Dell insist that it's brand new, but the packaging was torn inside and it didn't seem as neatly packed as the one I received from OCUK last week. It is an A01 manufactured in April 2013.
Despite all that, it still has backlight bleed in the bottom left-hand corner like my original one. It's definitely better, but I don't see why I should "settle" after spending £420.
Waiting for Dell to reply...
