Dell U4025QW Purchase

Hi all, I have a opportunity to buy the Dell U4025QW for £900 from Dell. Currently using an Alienware AW3423DWF for gaming and mostly work. I'd say 95% of the time it's for work. Im wanting something else for work because the Alienware will suffer burn in. I have already RMAd one because of burn in, I don't want the same thing happening.

Will the Dell be good enough for gaming and should I sell the Alienware, or should I keep the Alienware for PC gaming? My PC is mid range with a 3080FE.

I wouldn't be confident of a 3080 driving a 5k monitor at anything like usable frame rates when gaming. You may be better looking at one of the Dell VA ultra wide panels if you want to stay brand loyal and continue to be concerned about oled burn in

I wouldn't be gaming at 5k, probably stick to 1440p but it will be mainly for work and photo editing. I may upgrade to a 50x0 in the future.
