I have a Dell XP13 laptop and I want to connect it to my TV, I have an HTML to HTML cable which I used to connect my old laptop with, but the Dell does not have a HTML port just a Thunderbolt.
I have been trying to find an adaptor from male Thunderbolt to female HTML
I think USB - C is the same as Thunderbolt, but all the adaptors I can find seem to be rounded either side and my Thunderbolt socket is rectangular with straight edges, will one of these adaptor fit or is there a special on for Dell.
Thanks

I did buy a mini display port adaptor its the right rectangular shape but its not as wide as the socket in the Dell

After putting on another pair of glasses it looks like the socket does have rounded sides after all.
Thanks for trying to help though

...lol at the HTML :D

What you need is the adaptor. Will give you HDMI ;), VGA, Ethernet and USB.

Dell Adapter - USB 3.0 to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB from the Dell site.

Got mine when I bought the laptop and it worked fine.
