Dell XPS 13 and Black Friday

The main difference for me is how the MBPM1 doesnt get hot, nor do fans turn on. Once you have that experience, its so hard to go back to heat and fan noise. And when opening up applications etc the MBPM1 is just that much faster, snappier. So sadly I will be returning the Dell.

Sounds like what I'm looking.

Something smallish, light, quiet. It won't be a machine I use 24/7. I still prefer W10 to MacOS, not sure why, just know that I won't find what I'm looking for in a W10 machine

That is the problem I am having after owning the M1. Once you go M1, you wont go back, even for W10. Unless you really really needed to. It wont, but if bootcamp come out for Windows on the M1, it would be the ultimate machine for me.

Hmm. I think the XPS is the closest or best Windows Ultrabook still isnt it? I don't think anything else comes close does it?

Might have a look on the outlet. Wasn't really wanting to spend over 1k tbh, but, I guess it's the price you pay for something decent?

I would assume the XPS is the closest, but it’s no where near the M1s.
 
had my my XPS 13" 1185G7 for over week now very happy with the performance. I definitely would not have felt comfortable with anything larger like the similar spec Lenovo 7i which was heavy and noisy too. The M1 looks great but I have no need or time to start to learn Mac OS or start new application learning and gathering again. This really comes down to your personal preference and what is important to you.
