Thinking about replacing my Dell Inspiron 1720 after 3 years of good service , does anybody have the Dell XPS 17 ?

I was originally going to get the top Inspiron 17 about a month ago, but they changed the spec and no longer offer a Blue Ray reader, 6144MB RAM and a 640GB Hard Drive, all for something like an extra £70.
