Dell XPS M1710 - dead pixels

i have the same problem with my XPS M1710 with 7950 GTX card,
had it for 18 months so out of warranty,
i had to do a reinstall with vista,but still have problems updating,
i have seen many DELLs having this problem when searching the code,
Dell must know there is a major problem with heat and graphic cards burning out,
should they replace free of charge,
any ideas where to get a new card from,

Yeah, I will definitely clean it from now on with the air cans I use on my desktop PC's will have to try and see how to open it up :rolleyes:. It seems to be a lot cooler now there are new fans and everything was cleaned by the dell guy.
 
Dell warranty service is excellent, puts most vendors to shame. I use the compressed air cans on my m1720 with the lance attached, works effectively.
