DeLoreans and 88mph.

No thanks, a car built in belfast. The same town where the titanic was built. Youd be safer with a skoda or a lada.:D

Then why, after they find Docs grave does it say her name on it?

We know she died in the ravine but it doesn't say when.

In the original timeline where Doc never went back she went into the ravine and died thus having it named after her.

In BTTF2 he gets zapped back in time and at some point is tasked to pick up the new teacher from the train station, with Marty not there he completes the task and falls in love just like he does in BTTF3 but with Marty not being there he gets shot in the back by Tannen and dies, Clara gets a tombstone for his grave.

Some fans theorise that she is so distraught over his death she commits suicide by throwing herself into the ravine which then gets named after her.

Then in BTTF3 Marty goes back making Doc forget about the appointment to pick Clara up and they only saved her because they were scouting locations to try pull the Delorean up to 88mph.

I always look for a car to be iceberg proof and ensure it has enough lifeboats if the passengers and crew need to abandon it. ;)

Back to BTTF3. I don't see why the could have syphoned some fuel from the car left by Doc in the mine. Doc managed to repair the car that Marty broke the fuel line on as Doc was able to try putting alcohol in the car to try and start it up.

Considering the car will be sat there for 70odd years he probably drained the car of all liquids so it didn't rust. 1955 Doc even says he put gas in the tank just before Marty goes back to 1885.

This thread making me want to watch the trilogy again.

My Mums Cousin had a DeLorean (he may still have it) which he lent her for the day. I do remember it feeling pretty sluggish at the side of the Capri 2.8i that my dad had at the time but having said that it got massive amounts of attention, pretty much everyone stares at you as you drive past.

There is one in Worksop too that I very occasionally see on the road, it seems to spend all winter with a tarpaulin over it.
