M0r94n, thanks for the tips. Managed to defeat him last night after i had got the winged spear and upgraded it a couple of times. Now, i can't get through the fog is my next issue as i need a giant soul :confused:

Still loving it though, also the magic weapon spell, once i buy this is it a use once or can i use it whenever like when i like.

You need to beat one of the final bosses in any of the other worlds to get through that fog.

You can use the magic weapon spell as many times as you like (as long as you have enough MP of course).

Be patient and don't worry if you die very early on, you can't ever really die in this game.

For those interested you need a 10 stat in Magic to be able to learn spells and a 10 stat in Faith for Miracles.

Especially in the first level too as you can't level up until after you've killed the first boss. Its also worth keeping your Demon's Souls in storage rather than using them straight away as they become quite useful later on.

guys im having a problem. I have bought magical weapon and remembered it but i cant seem to use it how come? any advise?

Do you have a Catalyst (Wand)? It needs to be equipped in one of your hands for you to be able to cast it.

Need to keep an eye on your mana

Using spices will allow you to recharge it, or you can pick up a ring somewhere that gives mp regen. If I recall one of the classes starts with it.

Took out the red dragon but I'm not strong enough to use the tasty shield I got in return

hax ways? I take it that my 20 minutes spent firing arrows at the git doesn't qualify as that?

The tower/prison level is well creepy, home to some very powerful enemies if you are predominantly a melee character, have had to rethink my strategy to deal with them!

Got back from base and gave this game a blast.

a lot of fun, very cool concert but very difficult. When I die I don't feel like I died cheaply though, its because I screwed up which is good. You learn the hard war.

This game looks fantastic and you've all convinced me to buy it. Given I love big bosses with a strong tactical focus this looks like a winner to me.

Well i managed to put some time into it yesterday,and this evening,beaten my first boss,and it feels like a real feat(well it was,lol),
Brilliant,and beautiful,worth the money,and if beating the first boss is a taster,i,ll be playing this for a long time.

Just accomplished the same.

Great use of the multiplayer messages. If it hadn't been for them I would have been murdered. A true tactical action RPG and its epic to boot.

Excellent purchase, would have missed this if not for here
