Denon AVR-X2700H Remote Extender?

Hello All,

I'm completely confused with this!
I've just bought a Projector and when it's in use it blocks the remote signal to my AMP (Denon X2700), I just want something that will relay the signal from my original remote to the AMP. The AMP has a remote extender jack. I thought it'd be easy to just buy a cable with a sensor on the end, plug it in and hey presto I can control the volume etc again...I can't seem to find something that fit's the bill? Can anyone point me in the direction of what I need?

Look up eBay item 285188552940 for an idea of the sort of device you're looking for. You will need either a jack to jack cable to connect this to the Denon. Or you could use one of the IR emitters over the IR receiver window of the amp.

TBH, I'm surprised you're having IR issues. I've installed a tonne of projectors, and the only ones that have ever been an issue are those with 3D glasses timing emitters that use IR.
 
Thanks @lucid I'll take a look, I went a bit mad and bought a UST Vividstorm Screen and that's doing a great job of blocking everything behind it!
(I'm still surprised it's not a simple cable with a IR receiver on the end!)
