Hi guys,

I'm 19 and at uni at the moment. From what I gather off my mum my dentists private but was free up until my last appointment (just after my 19th bday)... so they must get some cash off the NHS for this :s

Anyway... I chipped two teeth playing football tonight. Not big chips but one of them seems a bit sensitive... so i'm going to ring them tommorow - mum reckons al need an emergency appointment...

Being a student, should I pay... should I transfer to a non private dentist? CBA paying for healthcare when I pay god knows how much NI.

Your over 18, you pay.

However if you cant afford it ask for a NHS-HC18 form after your appointment, This form will get your money refunded, even travel costs to the surgery if are too lazy to walk.
