Derek Acorah RIP

So she was saying that your "loved one" was a prostitute?

No, at least none that I know about! :D

I'd had the incident years before I met her. I think she was talking generally about these ghost programmes on tv, were they say its someones loved one, or its an historical figure. She doesn't believe its people that have been alive.

I think better words than respect would be to have common decency. Treat others how we wish to be treated ourselves. We don't have to agree with someones way of life but we can have some common decency to not drag up all our personal aggrievances on the day we hear they died.

My goodness. This is a discussion forum where people express opinion. You can't demand respect and decency towards someone if they do not feel it. You sound like a primary school teacher.

What next, 'if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'.

@robfosters you knew what reactino you'd get on this forum. You've only posted this to get a reaction.

If I was to tell you I grew up in an extremely haunted house, would you laugh at me?

I wouldn't laugh at you. I believe that you believe it was haunted. I don't believe it and I don't believe it was real, but that doesn't mean that you thought you'd experienced it.

His performances were so many comical when 'channelling evil spirits' you'd think he was a comedian. But if he conned actual people outside of his silly tv programme then stuff him.
