Like it or not, in America the police are a somewhat paramilitary outfit, owing to the gun culture out there.
Cops get killed, and anybody could be armed. Cops also have to deal with some fairly scummy individuals.
What some seem to want is a police force that gives no consideration to the safety of their own officers, and would always prefer a cop to be shot/injured than a felon.
The tributes to Floyd as if he were some kind of saint - a loving family man who never hurt a fly - are a false narrative.
Why?? Because of the way she looks?? Or is there something else to her that makes her unsuitable to be a juror??

UK cops shoot people too. Sometimes it's what needs to be done. And that's in a country where gun ownership is heavily restricted.
In America, I think you'll have to concede that sometimes bad guys get shot and pretty much deserve it. Sometimes the police resort to violence and it is justified.
The idea that everything can be peaceful and the bad guys will throw up their arms and say, "It's a fair cop, guvnor," is a somewhat naïve fantasy, in the USA at least.

Everyone agrees on that, the reality of what happened is, a man who is a drug user and unhealthy could not handle being restrained, and died.
People then, who's goal it is, for the world to be the wild west, try to figure out how they can use that to cause problems.
Those people are text book domestic terrorist's, but are allowed to operate completely freely within the US.

Agreed it was a very unfortunate incident, but I'm sick of people making out that gf was some sort of saintly guy just walking down the street minding his own business, when the reality is very different. no one wants criminals to die in this way but if he had cooperated in the first place hed still be alive today.
