Look at this picture of the new matx version of the prodigy.

Now it says you can house a 240mm rad in the top like the last, now if im not mistake that leaves very little room between the rad/fans and the GPU, surely choking the rad?

Or am i wrong?

If you're basing your thoughts on that specific picture then I would say a 240 rad wouldn't fit at all because of the 2nd GPU. Nor could you fit an optical bay for the same reason.

At a guess it's a case of (no pun intended) having to compromise on the setup options should you wish to have a 240 rad.

Yes, a top slim rad does fit.

That's not many small cases (mATX) out there that can take either 2 GPU's or 240mm rads, or Big air coolers so there is always going to be a trade off.

To be honest for SLI/Xfire i think Bitfenix has done a good job as air can be pull from the top of the case by the second card.

SSF case are all about compramise, if your not willing to go for a full ATX case. :)

You could always mod it to have the rad on the top with the fans there too, with fan guards of course ;)

I reckon ya could make it look really nice if done properly! Just because a case isn't made to do something off the shelf, doesn't mean it can't do it ever!

Yes, you still can. 120mm or 140mm on the back.

can i ask, and maybe everyone knows this but i dont
ocuk has this listed as the exact same dimensions as the itx
is that correct?
and is that so all the custom sides and fronts can fit this one too or that isnt the reason? i mean the window would be on the wrong side? ..its early...im confused...i duno

Yes, the mATX is the same dimensions as the ITX. The ITX window was not designed for mATX, but it does fit and you will see mostly your CPU area. This does mean your IO and your SSD bracket on the side panel is now on the other side interferring with your cable management. It'll have to be fairly thought out.

Custom front panels will be cross compatible as well.

hehe cool, i love the different color combos u can do
im seeing green and black with the gigabyte sniper

im sure right side windows be made up

i thought about this, i was wondering wether you could have the rad on the outside fans on the inside. or fans out the outside rad on inside. or just go for it all on the outside with a lovely looking fan guard and still have xfire or sli setup :)

Il grab one when I can and do a build in one, il go sli just to make it harder =D

Will be next year though now I think though, I'm still working on a few things at the moment and don't really have too much time to do another that involves too much modding

With the above set up, I take it the airflow for the top rad would be to pull in cool air, which then would cool the rad but then pass hot air into the GPU?

Am I correct in saying this?

Seems odd as the top fans should be drawing out as hot air rises
