I've been briefed with this project which I'm finding a little bit overwhelming, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas to contribute or any places where I can get some good resources as Google is being frustratingly vague!

I've got a general map laid out of the various aspects to include (DMZ, some devices etc) but was looking to add some real meat to the bones!

Any ideas greatly received. Regards

Have a look at something along the lines of ISO27001 or some other IS based risk assessment where you apply an ATV matrix under scenarios. Asset x Threat x Vulnerability. If you google those words and enterprise risk assessment you should be getting somewhere.

Failing that you could just try to google some Business Impact Assesments or business continuity plans and see if anyone lists some examples as part of them

Some good keywords there, I'll have a gander. thanks!

mpls between branches and vpn to international officers? a mix of windows desktops and windows servers and some unix based server platforms?

This sounds intriguing. Would you be able to expand slightly as I'm a bit overwhelmed. :o
