Hey guys,

I'm thinking about having a go at designing pc cases. I'm just wondering whether there's a site or sites which have a collection of all the standard dimensions for pc parts and where the screw holes are in things etc.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Well yeah, not just motherboards tho, cpus, gpus, ram etc. I want to know the dimensions. And also whether there are premade models for solidworks (or, at a push, google sketchup because I don't actually know how to use that, but people seem to use it a lot for case design).

If you search the 3D Warehouse within Sketchup, you'll find lots and lots of standard PC components - I'm currently doing a design and I've managed to find my Asus P8P67 motherboard, EK Supreme CPU waterblock, 360 radiator, Seagate Barracude 7200.11 hard drive, power supply, EK Multioption reservoir, Laing DDC pump, BenQ G2420HDBL monitor, Dell 17" monitor, Logitech Performance MX mouse, and even my ~10 year old Creative Inspire 5300 speaker system!!
