Just a bit of an update from a few months ago really.
On Friday we moved into our new house, luckily this means that i now have my own computer room, thats right a computer room, not a corner of the kitchen or tucked away in an alcove in the lounge....a great big lovely computer room.
Our last house was 3 bedroomed so with there being the Wife, myself and 2 kids (1 boy, 1 girl) there wasnt a whole lot of room for computer stuff.
As you can see from the pic below i had a cramped little desk in a corner of the kitchen.
Now i have a room at the end of the new house, right next door to the bathroom.
It has everything that i want....a bigger desk, a bookshelf and most importantly my lovely leather comfy chair for when i really want to relax.
I have just started saving for a new 24" monitor so when that comes i will be all set

Wish i had a computer room but im turning my walk in wardrobe area into a gaming alcove
My mum had the wall knocked through to the spare bedroom thats next to hers (that wouldve been my pc room), so she could have a bigger bedroom, and now the other spare room has been turned into a bloody guest room even though we absolutely never have people over, so i cant use that
with my desk in my room now as well as everything else i probably have about 3 square feet to move when i get out of bed -______________-

Could you do me a massive favout and measure the width of your desk and the width of your room. I have a similar room and seeing your pics gives me a good idea of what I can fit desk wise if I knew the size of yours. By width or room I mean between the door wall and the desk wall if you get me.

How very brave of you to post pictures of your room after it had been burgled. You're really lucky they didn't take your PC

It doesn't hurt for people to TIDY up their desks does it? Never saw so much mess in my life! My whole house doesn't have that much mess never mind just one desk.
mine is still a mess tho the missus keeps most things cleans bar the desk these days.
tho i have been ordered to build a new desk. anyone got any ideas about building one? i will prolly ended up using mdf with the aim of hiding cables from pc, monitor, plasma, ps3,360, wii, amp, speakers and chargers

thats nothing this was my desk when i used to do volunteer work for barrysworld think 2001 or there abouts
tho that it is in a clean state. a true gamers desk is never ever neat and tidy
omg same printer!
