You'll never get a desk that fits flush to that curve. Well I say never... chances are pretty slim. Most definitely a custom job if you want a perfect fit.

P.s. You sister is hot!

Thats where i left my tigger teddy!

It would be a custom job, but a pretty cheap one if you know someone whos handy with wood and a jigsaw!

thats what i am doing, got some thick mdf from wickes and have started making my own desk. its time consuming tho

Custom making it is no problem have a huge number of tools... bench saw, pillar drill, lave, rotozip, jigsaw. Only thing Im worried about is getting a non-mdf look finish, maybe a high gloss resin or something over paint? Or I might buy real wood to sandwich over the main frame to make it look more pricy.

Oh btw, to all of you... my sister is 9 years old

I have a challenge for you all! Spec me a desk for this curved location..

This is my sisters room (which I hope soon will be mine) forget the bed etc is there. I want it to fit flush to the radiator or thereabouts.

Check the new ikea 2010 catalogue, page 272. I don't think it is on their website yet.

Thank you! Will see if it's been delivered here

I had a look at wood today, Selco are doing solid flat wooden doors about 38mm thick which are very nice, might use that as a table top as they only cost £26.

Here's mine as of today:
