Oh I know, I can see. But then people will spend more money than there is in that room in electronics on fitting a kitchen out, which seems a little mad to me, still I suppose at least it adds value to a property if you don't go over the top, you never make your money back on super luxury kitchens and bathrooms though. At least you can take your high-end electronics with you when you move

Thanks for your kind comments guys. It is a relatively large amount to pay for so little. But the dac could be used well in a hifi setup later which I intend to do (with chord integrated amplifier). I auditioned several dacs including the ayre usb, weiss, and benchmark hdr. The Chord is a level above all of them imo.

Perfect size really especially once you mount the monitor as it opens up loads more space. I had an office sized corner one in before and it was too big, loads of space but never used it all.
