Sony Eriksson K700?

Yep and a Nokia N70 :D

I used to do that at college all the time, because you also got the keyboard with one stand. :D

How big is that telly, and what res does it run at?

Its 32" and runs at 1920x1080 just like my old 24" monitor did. This TV can run at 100Hz though which was the big selling point for me. I never normally pay this sort of money on stuff but after being let down with a bargain in Best Buy on the first day when they sold out really quickly, I got a heads up about these going for 399 in PC World so thought I would take the plunge.

Hmmm sounds great, but the res isn't high enough for me for a screen that size. What I really want is a 2560x1600 or bigger res I reckon, although I can't really justify it. My current 28" is 1920x1200 and is just about perfect I reckon. So I might just get another of these. :P

I thought it was going to suck but really I think it looks fantastic, and for 399 I can't really complain. My 17" Laptop does 1920x1200 which does look fantastic as you can't even make out each of the pixels.

This size will do until it becomes affordable for something like 2560x1600 etc

I'm thinking of buying a 37" but only for movies. So badly wish they were available in higher resolutions so I could use one as my main monitor... You can never have enough pixels! :o

what model lg tv is that please?

LG 32LH5000 :)

This is my previous setup:

When I get my new desk area I am planning on putting the center on the wall above the screen.

Edit: Taking back the 32". Its some fake 100hz crap. Going to spend the money on the Acer GD245HQ, because that IS worth the money.

Well that lasted. :P

My ideal monitor would be a 34" at 2560x1600 I reckon. Don't really care on the hz front as long as it does 60hz, my eye's don't appear to be able to tell the difference between 60 and 120. :P

nice setup leoncc

is that a boogie bug mat? where did you get it, ive seen a few of them about and thinking about getting one

There are some very slick setups in the thread, its nice to see how other people lay out their tech, gives me ideas. Gonna take some pics of mine when I get time

richibizasport did you take that picture with one of those panoramic sweep cams?

I used my kodak 8mp v803, fairly old to be honest. Has an image stitcher built in, so you take one shot, it creates an almost opaque overlay on the lcd so you can line up your next shot. Then stiches 3 images together, quite cool :)

You can see I wasn't quite lined up as my wardrobe gets fatter at the bottom!
