He adds something new to his room, he shows us. Don't like it put him on ignore.

I've posted mine more then once, shock horror.

It's not like he's some kid posting a laptop plugged into an Argos £50 stereo every week. He's posting one of the best rooms you'll see, not even every month.

If looking at pictures on the internet annoys you that much, this is the wrong forum and hobby for you...

What's the battery like for you on that phone? My brother just got one and he told me it was rubbish, and compared to my HTC Hero; it really didn't come close with battery life.

Again thanks for the kind words guys. I am bit if of a gear freak and update the stuff I have regularly, and thought its cool to share, and answer any questions - what the forums are here for. Love seeing everyone elses setups, have taken a lot of ideas from them!

Aleksandrs the battery life is not that great. It lasts a while, thats the not the problem for me, it just takes a long while to charge!

This is my first android phone, it was an upgrade and had intentions of selling it straight away, until I used it. I think the phone is pretty awesome. Had the satio before this and I sold it straight away! Its all down to preference with the smartphones imo. Best to try em out.

r2d2,
Are those Denon headphones? How do you find them?
I've just recently bought some HD650s and a Creek OBH21se amp and the quality from basic equipment is amazing!
I know the Lehmann amps are supposed to be superb.
I am curious too as to the source below the amp. Some kind of music router?

Andrew

Yes mate. They are the denon D7000. I am still getting used to the sound, but I like what I hear so far. I tried out a stax sytem a few months bck didnt like the lack of bass slam.
Your hd650 and creek 0BH21 are far from basic equipment. Those are quality components!
I have the HD650. A superb all rounder, one of the best headphones out there imo. The HD650s scale really well with euipment upgrades.

That silver box is a chord qbd76 dac. I have my netbook and pc connected to it through its usb and optical inputs. Its a really good dac imo. I tried out the ayre qb9 and heard the naim dac, as well as others, this sounded the best to me.

Oops! That should have been COMING from basic equipment'! The 650s were higly recommended by a colleague. He actually tried the 800s but wasn't convinced. I might mention the Denons to him. Using a Marantz CD63 KI as the source at the moment - a very kind 'long term' loan from said colleague when he upgraded :)

I'd love to do some work in the garden, but the wireless won't reach. :(

You could always run some Cat5e cable out to the garden, it is cheap and the cable itself is very weather proof, just have to protect the end when not in use.

r2d2 have you got the lil laptop steaming bluetooth to the Chord amp?

I was at the Bristol Hifi show drueling over them a few months back, fantastic bits of kit and look superb!
