we are moving house this week and its all new furniture, so is ikea the best place to go for a desk/chair? or anywhere else?

Nar kudos to you. When I was 20 I wasted all my money on going out, wish I'd had the sense to spend it on something like what you have there. Experience is a fine thing

i still go out most weekends and get off my rocker but i know a good deal when i see it just bought a benq 24 led for £125 posted and looking for a 3rd for surround gaming ill post some more pics soon

Looks a hell of a lot like a old CD rack I have somewhere, but it looks like he took out levels which he didn't need.

This is my setup, nothing grand, nor as good as some of them on here but it does me fine

Desk:
Dell E2210h monitor
Goldring ns1000
Netgear router
Dell keyboard
Western digital elements 1tb
Keysonic wireless keyboard
Antec 300, amd 965, ati 5750, 4gb 1333mhz, 500gb 16mb seagate hdd

Cabinet:
Panasonic tx-26lxd8
Denon upa-f10 amp
2x 8" coaxial (ceiling) speakers mounted behind the black fabric below the t.v
Sky box

This is one of the speakers mounted on the false wall behind the t.v (kind of difficult to take it when I couldnt see the screen on the camera lol)

£50 off ebay and they dont sound bad at all, they put out quite a surprising ammount of bass, yet voices sound clear and detailed, had to kind of dismantle the white plastic grille and surround to fit them.
All in all was a reasonably cheap project, £50 for speakers £30 for the amp, £20 for the t.v bracket, £16 for mdf and £5 for black speaker cloth. And well chuffed with the results!
