I never wanted or expected to use Ableton in a live environment. I just wanted easy to use dj mixing capabilities. Ableton isn't really that. It's very good for set building if you have the patience. I just wanted to be like CDJs. Load a track, mix and away you go. Traktor for sure is better than Ableton for that. The VCI-100 should be pretty easy to use too.

Problem is, I want everything now and can't afford any of it really.

Ableton is very good for doing live remixes, but yeh i know what you mean its not user friendly for pick up and play for Djing, warping can be a real pain if you have many tracks to do in a session.:)

wow :) liking that, looks crisp and alligned great, nice work :)

This looks crisp! Should definitely invest... oh and where's your speakers? xD

Guessing you might not have installed them yet? :)

kd
They look like the same Dell 2007WFP that i've got, and it looks like he has the same dell speakerbar underneath the middle screen.

I tend to use headphones more than the speakers and the speakerbar has sockets at the side, so i find them ideal.

Sorry for bad quality they were done on phone
Quite a few differences from my last one inc a new desktop instead of laptop, new keyboard and mouse, a brand new screen (arrived moments before the picture was taken), and a small lcd for running extra applications :)

Its attached with brackets. I could have had legs but they were unneeded.

The speakers are Stage Caspians. Its a small Canadian audio company. I might have them for sale soon, might sound lame but they "don't go with my new desk" :D

Just got myself a new "office" in new house :D

Where do you work, that is RAD!!

Did you immigrate to canada and get a job, or you had a job already and transfered?

i would love to live in canada one day.

Done a bit of tidying up today. Got rid of loads of old bits of PC lying around under my desk. Emptied the whole room and hoovered everything. Also finally got my Hercules speakers set up. Bought them ages ago and although they are not amazing, I got them for a fantastic price in the summer. My old Creative 5.1's are going to my mates kids for Christmas.

Got my Boogie Bug Aimpad delivered in the week but it has not gone onto the desk yet. Centre speaker is a little out of alignment but there was a nail in the wall already so rather than bang another one in, I thought it will do.

The desk is an old office desk, I just took a saw to it to make it fit the odd shaped rear wall. :D

A LOT tidyer than it was. Gave my rig a good clean out as well as my room does get dusty. I cannot recommend those Demciflex dust filters enough.
